We bought a house this past spring with a gorgeous kitchen recently added on where a previously enclosed porch had been. An inspection revealed improper supports for the kitchen and its heavy equipment and counters. Cory and his team at A-1 Leveling installed the proper support necessary without any damage to the kitchen whatsoever. A lot of additional pier work to this ~120 year-old house. Corey and his team did a great job helping us restore a foundation that was sinking. I needed a quick emergency fix, to avoid further damage to the floor boards. Corey showed up, crawled around the crawl space, took pictures and had a crew out and done within a week. They were reasonably priced and provided quality work. A-1 recently replaced 14 piers and installed 5 push pilings on my 100 year old home. I have nothing but positive things to say. Here are the high points:- excellent communication by Brewster, Cory, Erwin, and Erwin Jr throughout- extremely prompt in all aspects (receiving the estimate, starting the job, and worked everyday until completion of the project)- detail-oriented and gave explanations to any questions/concerns that I had- kept a clean worksite during the process, and after the project was complete they did a good job of cleaning upThey even leveled two of my doors that were dragging the floor as a result of foundation issues. One of the doors had some rotten wood beneath the threshold that they replaced, repaired, and painted for no extra charge!I would not hesitate to use them again and I highly recommend A-1 House Leveling if you think you are having foundation issues!

We noticed that our house was having some stability issues and literally sinking in the middle. We had our street repaved and that work combined with the drought really roughed up our house. I saw an A-1 truck driving in our neighborhood so I looked them up, checked the reviews and sent in the online contact form. Corey called me and set up an appointment to take a look. He was detailed in his explanation of what we needed to do and we received a quote within a couple of days. I had contacted some other shoring companies in the meantime and I could only manage to get one other quote. Of course we went with A-1 and we felt well taken care of through the whole process. I was very nervous to attempt to level our 80 year old house, but it turned out perfectly. Erwin and his crew were fast, thorough and they left our yard / house incredibly clean. I have already referred Corey and A-1 to our neighbors.

Mr. Corey came to inspect my house on time today, over 100 degree. We have some internal ceiling cracks we have been worried about for a while. He answered all our concerns with his extensive knowledge and professional experience and made my family live peacefully, and advised us to pay attention to unsafe cracks. My experience with A-1 House Leveling was wonderful! I contacted them after having an awful customer service experience with a leading competitor. The turnaround time from my initial online inquiry to my contact with Brewster, the company rep, was less than 12 hours. A site visit was scheduled in less than a week and the job was completed within three days! Brewster and Corey, the Project Manager, were great. They were very thorough in explaining the full nature of the repair work, supplies needed, timeline and all costs associated with the job. The price was very reasonable (and cheaper than the competition’s price). The contractors were amazing as well. The work was done incredibly fast and it looks GREAT! The post-repair cleanup was also very impressive. I would highly recommend that anyone needing foundation repair work or leveling contact A-1 first. You won’t need to look elsewhere. Cory and A1 framaing were great!! Fixed a leak under my siding from a broken gutter, and ended up replacing the sill and fixing the window. They did all of the contruction in one day, and are back to finish and paint today. Hired A1 to repair rotten sill plates and floor joists on my duplex, as well as rebuild damaged concrete piers. Corey was prompt and thorough with his inspection and estimate. The crew showed up and got to work, finishing the whole job in less than 5 days, even coming to work on a Saturday. They left the job site impeccably clean, hauling off all their debris and even hauled away some extra junk I needed to get rid of for no extra charge. Cory was available and at at my home whenever I had the slightest concern, and the best part was after the job was complete and paid n full I addressed an issue that was overlooked and Cory was right back to take care of it! That's right, "paid in full" and he send men back in 2 days to correct the issue, when does that ever happen:).Immediately after leveling we began the other improvements and will soon be enjoying our home more than ever before! Being a supervisor & PM for a major construction company for many years I know a lot about construction and did my due diligence in vetting companies. When I finally contacted A-1 House Leveling I was immediately impressed by their prompt response and within 1 week of contacting them we had a signed contract.When Cory came to my home he was courteous, professional & very thorough with his inspection. He raised issues that other contractors hadn’t and even came back a couple days later with his Forman who would be doing the job just to be sure he hadn’t missed anything. To me that was a sign of expertise and confidence in conferring with the people that actually do the work.Well I’m happy to say they are starting on schedule as promised and excited to have this work finally done and confident it will be done right. Here are a few photos to give you an idea of how out of level my home is. Besides the center of the house sinking where the chimneys are, notice the front left column, the front porch is a few inches out of level and shifting the column.

I have security cams in my crawlspace to keep an eye on rodent and animal problems, so I had the rare luxury of watching the crew do all their work (we all know how bad so many New Orleans contractors can be). They did a great job, they notified me when they found more problems, showed me photos and offered to fix them. They not only cleaned up under the house when they were done went that extra mile to encase all the bricks and blocks that are holding the house up in concrete. It now looks like some rich persons crawlspace :) I would totally have A1 do it again if I got a rewind.

Our 1920's home had piers, a sill, and joists fixed or replaced along with leveling. The crew was professional, respectful, and went above and beyond to solve issues as they arose. Corey was responsive and communicative throughout the process. There were no hidden fees and the cost quoted fully covered the work. My 120 year old duplex had a several deteriorating piers. I worked with Corey who was very knowledgeable and didn't try to sell me a whole new foundation. It took about 3 weeks to get on their schedule and they finished the project in 2 days. The new piers look tidey, they cleaned up their area and didn't leave a huge mess, and my walls had minimal cracking from the foundation movement during the repairs. I recently noticed that a major structural beam on my raised basement home had rotted through. I panicked and called several shoring companies to get quotes.
